Walsh Academy has once again been recognized on May 4 for its outstanding commitment to students with special needs, earning the 2026 School of Excellence designation from the National Association of Special Education Teachers (NASET).
This marks the 13th consecutive year that the Charles H. Walsh Sr. Academy & Career Tech High School has received the honor, a distinction reserved for schools that demonstrate excellence in special education and a strong commitment to the students, families and educators they serve.
NASET’s School of Excellence recognition highlights schools that provide exceptional support for students with diverse learning needs while fostering an environment where every child can succeed academically, socially and emotionally.
